Levels are a very interesting; they can promote you to a higher level of education in anything that you are trying to achieve. Let’s look at a list that Jesus might put us in when going through different levels or stages in our lives.
Aligned, Bulldozed, Broke Down, built, Calm, consistent, Continuous, Coming cleaned, Demolish, Devastated, Dropped, Direct, Exact, Equalized, Even Off, flushed, Flatten, Focused, Identical, Incline, Knock Down/Over, Leveled, Laid Low, Matched, Mowed, Planed, Polished, Precise, Prone, Proportionate, Pressed, Pulled Down, rolled, Raised, Smoothed, Stabled, Steady, Straight, Trimmed, Trained, Wrecked.
Jesus Christ will use whatever means Possible to get us where we need to be. Some of these words can be a little scary, but if that’s what it takes to get us there, Jesus’ is faithful to help us through them. He will never leave us nor forsake us. (Hebrews13:5b-6)
The Cross is the door way to the next higher level with Jesus. He never intended for us to hang around or pitch a tent around the Cross. He didn’t. He went on through the door of the cross and assented to the next level, which is our Eternal Priest, according to the order of Melchizedek (Hebrews 7:17) and sat down by the right hand of God. (Hebrews 10:12)
Jesus knew that if He was to learn everything about His Father He would learn in stages. Now I know you’re saying “He is God” well true but He became flesh for what reason?
In (Luke 1:26-33) Jesus was born of a woman, impregnated by the Holy Spirit. (Luke 2:41-52), at twelve He learned from the Door Named “Obedience” and the Door Named “Wisdom.” Jesus grew up in a carpenters home so Joseph taught Jesus the precepts upon precepts of the carpenter’s way.
Even after that Jesus continued from one level to another, the disbelief of the disciples, the Jewish Leaders. Read the New Testament you will see especially the time leading up to the cross. The Doors Of:
1.The Garden? 2.The six illegal trials? 3.The Roman Procurator? 4.The Roman soldiers? 5.The Jewish People? 6.The Beatings? 7.The excruciating walk to Golgotha? 8.The Crucifixion? 9.The Death and Resurrection?
These are all levels and every level has a door and Jesus went through every one of them, and read what happened, (John 19:30) He achieved everything the Father set out for Him, and everything was put under His feet (1 Cor 15:27a), and He sits at the right hand of God (Hebrews 10:12). What if Jesus didn’t go through all those doors, where would we be today?
Decisions must be made if we plan on exceeding in the life that God as chosen for us. Jesus expects us to continue on, going from one level to another, just like His Father, Jesus Has everything planned out for us. God was there when Jesus needed Him; Jesus will be there for us.
It’s like going to school, you start at kinder garden, and move to first grade, and them to second grade until you finely graduate college. Each year you learn something new, for example, in kinder garden you learn how to get along with each other, how to behavior in a classroom, you learn your ABC’s, etc.
Now when you get to 1st grade you learn how to write and sound out your ABC’s, then you learn how to read. In 2nd grade you learn how to put these letters into words, and then begin to write sentences. Then third grade (level) now you were in the big time writing stories and fourth grade (level) now you learn how to talk and write clearly, By High School you learn a higher level of the four basic elements, and by the time you get to college you will be taking an advance level of the four basic elements. You progress up in each level or grade year, learning more of the basic math, English, history, science; each level brings you to a better understanding of what you learned before.
Have you notice, that when you moved to the next grade it wasn’t your decision. Your parents made that choice for you. They can hold you back or send you on.
Same holds true with the levels we must climb with Jesus. It is written in Hebrew 6:1-3 it says: Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, 2. of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. 3. And this we will do if God permits.
God will permit, when it is time for us to move to the next level. Just like your parents when they said keep our child back a year or continue on to the next grade, you did what was asked of you, you didn’t have a choice, The Father is the same, when it’s time we’ll need to move, we mustn’t be disobedient, there is a lot at stake, if we don’t were missing out on a wonderful opportunity to learn more about Jesus and the relationship we have with Him.
When we start out as a new born Christian we learn the basic principles of what it is to be a child of God, then the Lord will call us to the next level and we will learn more about being a teenager of God, then the next level we’ll become an adult-child of God then Jesus calls us to the next level and were reborn, then the next, and the next, and the next, then comes graduation, that is we will be with the Lord forever.
In His Kingdom, there are many levels, to name a few:
This list only scraps the first part of the first scrap line in the many levels that God has to offer us, not all these will we experience in this life time, and not in the order they were put in. But we will have to go though one of these doors and learn.
I want to let you in on a mystery that Jesus told me about in my sanctuary. He said “Andrew, if my people won’t rise to the next level, the Body of Christ cannot raise either.”
You see if we rise to our next level with Christ then the whole body will rise, and when we all have raised to the finally level, the Body of Christ will stand on it’s two feet, with the head being Jesus. We must all be in one accord, and continue to receive what ever Jesus has planned for us. When the body rises will go home.
I would like for you to close your eyes and meditate on what Jesus has waiting on you in the next level, and when you are done, get up go to the nearest door and use this door as the door that leads to the next level, trust God, Open the Door and go in. This is “YOUR FAITH WALK”, you are physically showing God that you’re willing to trust Him, and learn.
Sometimes we like to open the door and look first to see what He has for us before entering, lets do something we’ve never done before lets open the door and walk in, trusting Jesus, He’s never let us down. He won’t put us through something that He’s not willing to walk through with us.
I want to encourage you to strive to reach your next level, and to help others do the same, in Love.
You have always encouraged us to strive to be the best in you; I know that we need your guidance to show us to the next level. And the door is the Cross that Jesus shed His blood for us. It is your will that we move to each level for you have commanded us according to Hebrew 6:1-3. Help us to finish the race, and help us to achieve the standards you have set for us on each level we progress to.
In Jesus name,
