A Courtroom: A room where it is decided if a person has done something wrong or did not do anything wrong. A hall of justice where accused persons are tried. A court that hears cases and decides them on the basis of statutes (a written law) or the common law (based on custom ad precedent, unwritten in statute of code.)
There is a courtroom you must try to stay out of, it’s doing you no good living there. It was meant just for rare occasions not for abuse. Many Christians hear, “if you sin go to the Father and He will forgive your sin(s) and go on”, but some abuse this privilege. (Don’t miss understand me here, yes you do need to ask the father for forgiveness when you sin but don’t use it as a crutch, so you can do what you want).
The Bible says asking God for forgiveness is one thing but are you repenting? Are you truly sorry for what you’ve done? Yes it is true the bible says if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
(1Jn1:9) He will do that.
But what has happen is in your iniquities have come between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you from hearing. (Isa 59:2). Now take a good look at this verse, if you sin you know longer have verbal contact with God. The relationship is in jeopardy, you are starting to back-slide. God is waiting to hear, from you, the simple little words, “Father Forgive Me I have sinned in Jesus’ name”.
There is only one who can make this happen. Now remember God will not allow sin before Him, so he had to make a way to communicate with you. His name is “Jesus” in that Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures.(1Cor15:3b).
Jesus is a Holy Sacrifice He came and died to set us free from Sin. It is written "I write to you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for His name’s sake."
(1Jn2:12). His name is power. And I can prove that to you.
We can go further, turn to Romans 5:12-21, you will see the freedom that Jesus brought to us, and you’ll understand why you don’t have to spend a lot of time in the courtroom. You don’t have to sin!!! When you finely leave the courtroom you will see a new Jesus.
If you stay out of the courtroom long enough you will see walking with God is a great enjoyment. Let’s make a decision today if you are willing, to stay out of the courtroom and ask Jesus everyday what do you want me to do for you. What is your plan for my life Lord? How can I Glorify you this day. I want to walk with you and learn more about you.
Lord Jesus, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart that we do not have to sin anymore, and that you have found a way for us to be perfect like the Father through His Holy Spirit. Thank you for being my mediator, for I know how serious God hates sin. Thank you for dying on the cross, so I can have access to the Father, and have a personal relationship with you. Thank you for your word and your love. In Jesus’ name, .John said to Jesus, "Teacher, we saw someone driving out demons in your name. We tried to stop him, because he wasn't a follower like us." (39) But Jesus said, "Don't stop him! For no one who works a miracle in my name can slander me soon afterwards. “
